A Bit More
James West is the principal at J. West Law Firm, PLLC. For James, a good day can be had in law or fishing. His best days include both. James has a passion to practice law that matters. He enjoys solving puzzles, making estate planning and probate a perfect fit. James has been practicing law since 2003. Back then, James drafted his first will for a widowed neighbor and found joy in law that lends a hand.
Licensed in Idaho, Texas, and Oklahoma, James has assisted families with estates ranging in size from a seedling, to many millions of dollars. James enjoys the chance to be creative, and utilizes his wide range of experience to protect and aid clients daily.
While he takes his work seriously, James doesn’t take himself that way. He enjoys the wit of others, and a good roast. James takes his obligation to serve his community seriously. James practices his belief in the importance of sharing legal services with those in need. Idaho law says a lawyer must never reject for any consideration personal to himself, the cause of the defenseless or the oppressed. James believes that seeking to serve others in need is vital piece of the structure that ties together our communities.
